new bladen song debuts; springsteen CD release info

Rusty Bladen has debuted a new song, titled "25 Years", at his live shows. Though we haven't heard it yet, reports have called it an Americana-type song: some country tinges and a rock and roll heartbeat. Sounds good. Post reports to the guestbook when you hear it, or with any other road reports.

Columbia Records will release Bruce Springsteen's new album, 'Devils & Dust,' on April 26, with 12 new Springsteen songs.

'Devils & Dust' was produced by Brendan O'Brien, who first worked with Springsteen on 'The Rising' CD. The new album was recorded at Thrill Hill Recording Studios in Los Angeles and New Jersey (two of Bruce's home studios) with additional engineering at Southern Tracks Recording in Atlanta.

Springsteen is planning a tour to accompany the release of the album. Details will be announced shortly. We hear it will be theaters and either acoustic or a small band show.
