Bladen offers free download of new song; returns to the stage May 28, with a live video filming in June
Fans who log onto rustybladen.com have an opportunity to download a free MP3 of Rusty's brand new song "25 Years" recorded live at the "Madison" movie premiere concert in April, 2005. A full band version featuring Rusty Bladen and the Designated Drivers, it is a very clean soundboard tape. We will have the song available online for two weeks, so get it while you can. The next place you will hear the song is on a new album. We will be adding other music from the concert over the next few weeks, so be ready to download this summer...

Rusty continues his recovery from a second surgery to correct more of the injuries suffered in his tour van accident in October, 2004. On May 3, he had part of a bone taken from his hip and placed into his right (strumming) forearm. The surgery was a success, and after a week of pain, Rusty is now shooting for a May 28 return to the stage, at Joe's in Fishers, Indiana on the night before the Indy 500. He will play a special Sunday night show on the 29th at the Broadway Tavern in Madison.
