Rusty took a large step closer toward his goal of returning to the road, as he and bandmate Mark Hamilton played a private gig in Salem, Indiana Saturday night.
Playing acoustic guitar fulltime for the first time since his October 9 tour van crash, Rusty and Mark teamed for what Rusty called "a hot show" and, combining sets, clocked in at about two-and-a-half hours.
Rusty will hit the public stage with his guitar on Saturday night (December 11) at Poppy's in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. It is the first time to play a full show outside of Madison (he and guitarist Joe Hanna played a Thanksgiving eve show at the Broadway) since October.
